THE eGO VEHICLES NO-NONSENSE LIMITED WARRANTY
In the USA, eGO Cycles are sold with a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for the following periods:
- Chassis (the shiny aluminum frame): 10 years
- Batteries: 6 months
- All other parts/components : 1 Year
We will repair or replace (at our option) your eGO Cycle if it is defective within the warranty period, beginning on the original date of purchase. You’ll be responsible only for the cost of shipping, if required. Only original owners who purchase their eGO from an authorized dealer are eligible for this warranty.
Obligations of Original Owner
You must retain your original, dated purchase receipt or invoice as proof of purchase, and present a copy upon request, before warranty services will be performed. You are responsible for reading the owner’s manual and following all recommended operational and maintenance guidelines.
Exclusions from this warranty
Of course, this warranty doesn’t cover cosmetic damage, damage that occurs during shipping (it’s covered by shipping insurance), improper assembly or maintenance, flat tires or normal wear and tear to parts like your tires or brake pads. It also does not cover damage due to accident, misuse or neglect. What’s misuse or neglect? Read your owner’s manual! It also doesn’t cover damage sustained in commercial use or in competition.
Some folks like to tinker with their electric vehicles, but please leave the performance-tuning to us. In addition to being potentially hazardous to your health, modifying your eGO Cycle or attempting to perform maintenance beyond that advised in the owner’s manual may void your warranty.
Finally, the law regards eGO Cycles differently state by state, and sometimes even town by town. We’ll do our best to help you find out the current traffic and registration laws for your state, but ultimately YOU are responsible for learning and obeying your local laws. This warranty doesn’t cover anything related to the legal registration or use of your eGO Cycle on a public road. So ride safe, smart, and ticket-free, OK?
How to make a warranty claim:
To make a warranty claim, please contact the authorized eGO Dealer that sold your eGO Cycle to you. Your eGO Dealer will then work with eGO Vehicles, LLC to process the warranty request. To see a listing of current eGO Dealers, click here.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and your rights may vary from state to state. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.
Part Warranty
RETURN AND WARRANTY POLICY FOR PARTS AND ACCESSORIES:
We are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality parts and accessories. You may return unused items for a refund (less a 25% re-stocking fee) within 30 days from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.
For items returned to us in new and undamaged condition, we will provide a refund of your purchase price less a 25% re-stocking fee. We will also refund any applicable sales tax. Costs for shipping are not refundable.
Directions for Returning items for Refund:
1. Please box the item(s) you wish to return securely. Be sure to enclose a copy of your Invoice plus all original packaging that came with your order.

3. Please use a shipping method that allows for shipment tracking, such as UPS or FEDEX, so that you can be sure your package reaches eGO safely.
4. Upon receiving the return shipment and confirming that the item(s) are unused and undamaged, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the cost of the item, less a 25% re-stocking fee. We will also refund sales tax, if any, that was paid on the returned merchandise. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Multiple Shipments for your Order
You may receive more than one shipment when you place an order with multiple items. You will not incur additional shipping charges for the split shipment. The “Packing List” included with each shipment will indicate the items shipped. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact us.
Merchandise Damaged in Shipping
If your shipment arrives damaged, please notify the shipping company (such as FEDEX or UPS as the case may be) and follow any instructions about submitting a claim for damage in shipping.
Defective Parts or Accessories
eGO Vehicles, LLC provides a 6-month limited warranty on the parts and accessories we sell. We will repair or replace (at our option) defective items if defective within the warranty period, beginning on the date of purchase.
